We were playing tourists in Cairns for a few days to alleviate the stir-craziness that has set in, and took a helicopter ride over the Barrier Reef and a hot-air balloon ride over the Tablelands of Queensland.
 No, those are not the fashion crime of fannypacks. Those are our lifejackets in a convenient foldaway pouch.
